Born and raised on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, I grew up with an appreciation for my surroundings and always aspired to travel and explore. After a couple of years of trying new career objectives, I realised that my passion for people and health aligned with the ethos of physiotherapy.
I made the decision to leave my friends and family and move up to Townsville, North Queensland to study Physiotherapy in 2019 at James Cook University. As scary as it was, my love for North Queensland was founded and continues to grow as I made my move further north to the beautiful tablelands.
I am always willing to learn and keep up with evidence-based care to help my patients holistically reach their treatment goals. I have a special interest in women’s health throughout the lifespan, especially the pre and postnatal periods and well as sports physio.
When I am not in the clinic, I am hiking, going to the gym, exploring my newest community, and trying various cafes to decide on the best coffee in town.” I am eager to immerse myself in a small community and build my skills in Atherton.

While in Rockhampton I became a part of a boot camp where I sustained a couple of injuries, which allowed me to realise that physiotherapy was what I wanted to do. I applied to Central Queensland University and completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours.
I like to spend my free time doing yoga, pilates, hiking and going for a jog/walk with my dog. I have a special interest in TMJ, headaches and women’s health.’

The youngest of four, I grew up on a small property in rural Victoria where I developed an appreciation of the outdoors and country lifestyle. I travelled interstate to undertake a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at James Cook University in Townsville, which I completed in 2014. Since then, I have worked in several different positions in various locations around Australia and completed further training including the Watson Headache Method, neuroimmune mobilisation, dry needling, acupuncture and tendinopathy management along with other courses for specific joint dysfunction and treatment.
Over the years, I myself have enjoyed participating in a variety of sports from gymnastics to touch football and am familiar with the frustrations surrounding sporting injuries. I have a particular interest in hip dysfunction, having myself had to undergo surgery and then participate in the long haul of rehabilitation that follows.
For me, physiotherapy is a way in which to provide holistic and individually tailored management of pain and injury. It is my hope that my skills as a physiotherapist will assist you in maintaining healthy and active lifestyles that allow you to strive for your best quality of life.

I became a part of Healthwise Physio in 2018 which has been a great opportunity to work with a very like minded team to offer the best physiotherapy service we can to our local community.
